Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Wendell, NC . Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

• As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for the building, assembling, and wiring of Medium and Low Voltage Electrical Distribution Equipment, such as LV Motor Control Centers, MV breakers, MV switchgear, DC Electrical Vehicle Chargers, and Solar Inverters.
• Assembly and wire LV MCC breakers, structures, sub-assemblies, parts kits, and aftermarket parts orders.
• Perform sub-assembly work, including mechanical assembly of steel and components, control wiring, power cable work, and interconnection of control wires.
• Record appropriate job record transactions.
• Read BOM, follow layouts & assembly drawings.
• Perform some basic wiring per given instructions when requested.
• Set and correct use of Torque wrenches.
• Adhere to developed processes, methods, or seek ways to improve.
• Must adhere to all safety rules and keep safety first for self and others.
• Perform miscellaneous other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management.
• Conform with Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety policy and Management System and strive to improve the intended outcomes of the Management System continually.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $21-$24/hr.

Hours: 40 hours/week - 2 nd shift.

Length: Temp (12 months).

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience performing mechanical assembly or in the mechanical field.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

• Communicate in English (read, write & speak fluently).
• Must have a proven record in Quality and Productivity.
• Must be a strong team player.
• Forklift driver experience.
• SAP experience.
• Able to identify mechanical parts and electrical components.
• Experience working with standard hand and power tools, both pneumatic and battery-operated.
• Knowledge of torque wrench and applied torque values.
• Experience with using a tape measure and other measuring devices.

Additional Information:

• Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
• In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be needed to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the necessary employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
• Must be able to lift parts or sub-assemblies that weigh up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
